Child. Guangzhou, China.
As soon as we showed up at the spot, this kid grabbed my board and started pushing around on his stomach. Getting my board back from him was a chore, he really didn't want to stop skating!

Hong Kong
After Pingan, I spent a day in Shenzhen before leaving China and crossing the border into Hong Kong. Hong Kong was the most diverse city I had seen in Asia, with people from all over the globe walking the streets. I stayed in the Chunking Mansion, which, contrary to the name, was an expensive and tiny room that I shared with cockroaches. Like every other city I visited, most of my time was spent exploring the streets, on foot and on a skateboard.
The most amazing skyline I have ever seen.
Looking across the water at Hong Kong from Kowloon

Pingan
After an expensive taxi ride, I arrived in the small village of Pingan, which is known for its terraced rice fields. They are a pretty stunning feat of agricultural engineering.
