Shanghai and Yangshuo

After Qingdao, I hopped on a train south to Shanghai. The trip took seven hours but was very comfortable.

Shanghai is an incredible city. Most of my time was spent walking or skating through the streets. Shanghai is also home to the world's largest skatepark, which is mostly unused by locals due to the price of admission (approx US$5).

The Pudong skyline.

After Shanghai I took an overnight train to the city of Guilin, in southern China. From Guilin, I boarded a bus for an hour ride to Yangshuo, located on the Li river. Yangshuo is a small town, catering mostly to tourists who come to see the beautiful landscape.

I rented a bicycle and explored the countryside.
