I stayed a night in Mesquite, Nevada while driving to Los Angeles from Montana.

Glacier Park, September 2012

The day after returning to Bozeman from the L.A. trip, I left for Glacier National Park. The drive up to St. Mary was beautiful, except for the excessive smoke. I would highly recommend GNP to anyone who has never been there. It is one of the most beautiful parts of Montana, and the country as a whole.

Great American Road Trip

We are lucky as Americans to live in a country so diverse as ours. From sea to shining sea exists nearly every kind of landscape imaginable. In March 2011, I departed on a road trip with Hunter Graham and Chelsea Reeck. We covered some 7000 miles, met a ton of crazy people, and enjoyed our lives to the fullest. I encourage everyone to get in a car and get going.

Paris

After my time studying abroad in Italy, I had a few weeks before I had to be back in the States. I spent a few good days in Paris, which is famous for it's "street" photography. I was thinking of Robert Doisneau when I shot these.

Florence Montana

From the plane...

Hawaii

Last week, my mother and I flew across the ocean to the island paradise of Hawaii. We saw the sights, drove around the island, did some surfing, and hung out on the beach. Here are a few digi shots. Shot some film too, should be up soon.

This man is an employee of the Hilton Village. From what I can tell, his duties are to take out the trash and sweep sand off the sidewalk. I wonder what it is like to be a native islander cleaning up after obnoxious tourists all day?

Tire Swing

This tire swing is a relic from my childhood that now hangs unwanted from our tree.

Butte

Butte America can best be described as "unique". Butte is often seen as "run down", yet the people still seem to make life work here. The town itself is full of interesting humans and architecture, which is a major attraction to photographers such as myself. I hope that these boarded up homes are not a possible foreshadowing of the end of Butte.

Old deck in the ditch

I have kept every skateboard I have ever ridden and attached them to the trees lining the irrigation ditch at my parents house. I have been photographing in the ditch for five years, and until recently I had never photographed it while it was full.
